It was a beautiful summer day\u2014or rather, a summer morning\u2014and Majka and Max\u00edk\nwere still sleeping. At least that\u2019s how it looked. Max\u00edk\u2019s blanket was puffing up, and\nevery now and then strange sounds came from underneath it\u2014like when Grandpa\nPa\u0165ko cuts wood with his hand saw. Grandpa insists that engines belong in cars,\ntrains, and boats, but not in saws or bicycles. But Majka didn\u2019t even stir. As Ka\u0161ko,\nour cheerful little ghost, watched them from behind the window, he thought they were\nsleeping like... like... and suddenly he noticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMajka,\u201d Ka\u0161ko whispered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes?\u201d Majka spoke through her small, tired teeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAren\u2019t you sleeping?\u201d Ka\u0161ko sat down on the edge of the bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut I am,\u201d Majka said, though not very convincingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMaji, but I can see it,\u201d Ka\u0161ko whispered so as not to wake Max\u00edk, \u201cshow up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Majka turned around, and Ka\u0161ko almost fell on his little ghostly bottom.\nBoom, there was a sound next to the bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMajka, what\u2019s wrong?\u201d Ka\u0161ko gasped when he looked at Majka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A ghost of some sort was sleeping on a bed underground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ka\u0161ko picked up another tile and muttered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cImage to image, image to image, wake up at once!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cUuuuuuaaaaaauuuuu,\u201d the ghost Benjamin opened his eyes, and as soon as he saw\nKa\u0161ko with Majka and Max\u00edk, he smiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cKa\u0161kooo!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBenji!\u201d Ka\u0161ko blurted out, and the two hugged each other in such a special, ghostly embrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat are you doing here?\u201d he asked, yawning so wide he could have swallowed thirty flies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe need help,\u201d Ka\u0161ko blurted out at him without a moment\u2019s hesitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOh, I like that. Sunbathers were lying on the surrounding\nbeaches, and in many places, people were grilling treats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHow is grilled bacon supposed to help me sleep?\u201d Majka asked sceptically, even though she liked it here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat might help you too, but not right before bed,\u201d Ka\u0161ko added immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSo, what are we doing here?\u201d Max\u00edk asked, just as confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMove, move!\u201d Benji shouted, and no one knew what he meant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOh, yessss!\u201d Ka\u0161ko exclaimed, and he\u2019d already stripped down to his ghostly swim trunks, and the kids got it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A moment later, they were already going wild in the water, frolicking like little seals released into the wild after several years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd what\u2019s this?\u201d asked Majka, opening her beautiful eyes wide.
